Carbon Valley Half Marathon and 5K
The Carbon Valley Half Marathon and 5K take place in Firestone and Frederick, Colorado. The routes run on manicured trail systems, dirt paths, bridges and rural roads and feature Firestone Central Park, the Firestone Trail, Frederick’s Milevac Lake and downtown. The course offers views of the Rockies and includes a two mile downhill finish. The half marathon route is a certified 13.1 mile course.

Participants receive event apparel and a finisher medal. Those who register at least seven days before the event receive a tech t-shirt and a goodie bag. The first 500 half and 5K participants receive goodie bags. Fun Runners receive a cotton t-shirt. A limited quantity of additional t-shirts may be available for purchase. There are no refunds.
Participants are asked to raise funds individually or as a team for autism research. The fundraising goal is $25,000 for the Autism Treatment Network through Children’s Hospital Colorado, and each participant is asked to raise a minimum of $25.
