Colorado Rockies Home Run 5K
The Colorado Rockies Home Run 5K is presented by King Soopers and UCHealth and takes place at Coors Field, 2001 Blake Street, Denver, CO 80205, USA. The event features a 5K run and walk (3.1 miles) on a scenic downtown course that includes a lap around the warning track of Coors Field, plus a 1K kids fun run for ages 10 and under with team mascots. Children's entries for the fun run are free.
Post-race activities include hot dogs, refreshments, music, and a beer garden. Each paid registrant is listed to receive a commemorative 2026 Home Run t-shirt, a custom 2026 finisher medal, two Rockies game tickets, a free hot dog, a free Squishys item, one beer voucher for participants aged 21 or older, timed and scored race results, and access to the post-race afterparty. All items are subject to availability.
The event supports the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club Foundation. The foundation focuses on serving disadvantaged and at-risk youth through youth baseball and softball programs, education and literacy initiatives, and children's health and wellness programs. Fundraising information indicates $1,486.71 raised, shown as 97 percent raised. To be eligible for early packet pickup, participants must register online before May 4, 2026; early pickup is scheduled at Coors Field Gate A on May 7, and race day packet pickup is available at the venue.
