Five Fields Farm Races
The event in Bridgton, ME includes two trail races based at Five Fields Farm, an apple orchard and trailhead location at 720 S Bridgton Rd. Races use trails through the Bald Pate Preserve and Holt Pond Preserve and include technical singletrack, steep climbs, and rolling terrain.

- 50K with a three-lap figure-8 course
- 10K Bald Pate course with steep climbs and technical sections
The Five Fields Farm 50k is a three-lap figure-8 route that uses trails from Bald Pate and Holt Pond preserves. Each lap is a little over 10 miles and features about 1350 feet of elevation gain per lap. Small segments cross private property that are used with permission. Course features include narrow singletrack, steep climbs, and an apple orchard section that leads to the finish. Two staffed aid stations are placed on course plus the start/finish aid area; supplies include water, Tailwind, gels, light snacks, and more substantial items at the larger station. A cookout with burgers and hot dogs will be offered at the finish area.
The Bald Pate 10k is a rugged 10 kilometer trail with roughly 1800 feet of elevation gain, technical singletrack, steep climbs, mud, and viewpoints. One aid station is located on-course offering water, Tailwind, and light snacks. Course maps and elevation profiles are provided in the race photos.
Proceeds benefit the Loon Echo Land Trust. The series organizer is Loon Echo Race Series. Entry prices listed for the event are $75 for the 50k and $35 for the 10k. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
