Five Fields Farm Races
Five Fields Farm hosts two trail events within the Loon Echo Race Series at Five Fields Farm, 720 S Bridgton Rd, Bridgton, ME. The events occur on consecutive dates: the Bald Pate 10k on August 30 and the Five Fields 50k on August 31. All proceeds benefit Loon Echo Land Trust.
The Bald Pate 10k runs through an ancient pitch pine forest and includes views of Foster Pond. The course includes steep climbs and technical terrain. Entry fee listed for this race is $35.
The Five Fields 50k is run on a figure-8, three-lap course that navigates the Bald Pate Preserve and Holt Pond Preserve. Each lap finishes with a section through an apple orchard. The 50k entry fee listed is $75. The 50k is an ultra-distance event and follows marked trails through conserved lands.
