First Steps, Big Dreams 5k
First Steps, Big Dreams 5k is a community 5K run and walk held at Sandhill Fields on Sand Hill Road in Georgetown, Delaware on November 14, 2026. The event is organized as a timed road race with results posted online.

- 12 and under 5K (kid registration)
Registration fees are listed for each entry category. The published fees are $33.70 for the standard 5K and competitive walking entries, and $17.73 for the 12 and under category. Bibs are non transferable and registrations are non refundable.
Amenities include event tee shirts, post race refreshments, and music. Timing is provided by R2R Timing using the MYLAPS BibTag chip system; overall male and female and overall masters are scored by gun time while other age groups are scored by chip net time. Awards are given to overall top finishers, masters, top 3 in 10 year age groups from 13 and under through 70 and over, and to the top 3 male and female walkers.
