Event overview
The First Responder 5k Run/Walk is scheduled for November 15, 2025, at The Battery Atlanta, 800 Battery Ave., Atlanta, GA 30339. The event offers both in-person and virtual options and is a qualifier for the Peachtree Road Race. Distances available:

- Virtual 5K
On-site activities include first responder vehicles and displays, field games with the Atlanta Braves mascot Blooper, a band performance by the Heavy Hitter Band, and a water fountain/spray ground. The course is described as hilly. Water stations will be available before and after the course.
Logistics, awards and fundraising
Registration prices listed are $45 for the in-person 5K and $50 for the virtual 5K; registration closes on November 15, 2025. Packet pickup is available prior to race day on Thursday, November 13 and Friday, November 14 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cobb County Animal Control (1060 Al Bishop Drive SW, Marietta 30008), and on race day at the registration tent. Virtual participant shirts will be mailed after the event and virtual times can be uploaded through November 23, 2025.
Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in overall male and female and in multiple age divisions (examples listed include 10 and under, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29). The top three fundraisers receive special prizes including a choice of first responder agency for a personalized tour. A sponsorship deadline of October 3 is listed to appear on the event shirt.
