Participants can choose from two options.
- In-person 5K Run/Walk, which includes a finisher medal.
- Virtual 5K.
Event Details
The in-person event is located at The Battery Atlanta. The course is described as hilly. Water stations are available before and after the race.
On-site activities include displays of first responder vehicles, the Atlanta Braves mascot Blooper, and family lawn games. A water fountain or spray ground is also mentioned. An opening ceremony features an honor guard presentation and a performance by a band.
Strollers and leashed dogs are allowed.
Registration & Awards
Registration includes a t-shirt for both in-person and virtual participants. The in-person event also includes a finisher medal. To guarantee a t-shirt, registration must be completed by a specified date.
Age group medals are awarded to the top three finishers in multiple divisions, from 10 and under to 70+. The event also serves as a qualifier for the PeachTree Road Race.
A fundraising component exists, with prizes for the top three fundraisers. These prizes involve a tour and experience with a Cobb County first responder agency.
Packet pickup is available in the days before the event at a specified location in Marietta, as well as on race day at the venue. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
