24th Annual Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K
The Adams Realtors Run for the Park 5K takes place in the historic Grant Park neighborhood of Atlanta. This annual event serves as the kickoff for the Summer Shade Festival and has raised funds to support the Grant Park Conservancy for over two decades. The course is recognized as a Peachtree Qualifier.
The event offers two main activities:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kid's Tot Trot
The race route starts and finishes near Grant Park and Zoo Atlanta. Participants have access to various amenities on race day, including a guided stretching session and a national anthem performance before the start. An awards ceremony follows the completion of the races.
Parking options include the paid Zoo Atlanta parking lot and deck, as well as nearby street parking. For those traveling by bicycle, a free bike valet service is available at the Milledge Fountain throughout the morning and remains open until the close of the festival.
