Atlanta's Finest 5K
The Atlanta's Finest 5K is organized by Atlanta Track Club in partnership with the Atlanta Police Foundation. The event is presented as an opportunity to thank local law enforcement and public safety officials for keeping roads safe during Atlanta Track Club events.
The race is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Pemberton Place, 126 Ivan Allen Jr Blvd NW, Atlanta, GA. Atlanta Track Club events are held rain or shine; severe weather such as lightning may result in delay or cancellation under the club's event policies.
Distance and entry details include a single distance of 5K for ages 8 and older. Event swag includes a short sleeve adidas shirt. Registration fees are tiered: $40 through May 29, 2026; $50 through June 26, 2026; $55 through August 21, 2026; and $65 on-site. Additional fees apply and online registration closes the evening before the event.
The course has a time limit of 1 hour and 15 minutes. Roller and inline skates and bicycles are not permitted on the course. Dogs and strollers must start in a designated wave and participants are asked to follow published rules; headphones are strongly discouraged.
Timing uses a MYLAPS ThinTag on the back of the bib. Unofficial results are available immediately via the race app, with official results posted after inquiries are processed. Overall awards are based on gun time and winners are not eligible for age group awards, which are based on net time. Age group awards are given to top finishers across multiple age categories. Atlanta Track Club offers reasonable accommodations for athletes with disabilities and handles these on an individualized basis. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
