OhioHealth First On The First 5K
The OhioHealth First On The First 5K is a New Year's Day running and walking event held at Otterbein University in Westerville, Ohio. The course starts and finishes near the Clements Center, providing a focused route within the university grounds.
Participants can choose from the following distance:
- 5 km Run / Walk
The event includes a variety of amenities for all registered participants. Every finisher receives an official finisher's medal and a unisex technical event shirt. The registration fee also covers an official race bib and race photography provided by OhioHealth.
Following the completion of the distance, there is a post-race celebration known as the Yabo's Taco Party, which features food for the participants. The event is open to individuals using strollers, making it accessible for families. While service animals specifically trained to assist persons with disabilities are welcome, other pets are not permitted on the course.
Packet pickup occurs in the days leading up to the race at Fleet Feet Sports Lewis Center. While registration fees increase as the event date approaches, a group discount is available for those registering three people simultaneously.
