First City Feast Day Fun Run
The First City Feast Day Fun Run takes place on Thanksgiving Day at Ward Lake in Ketchikan, Alaska. This event marks the conclusion of the 2026 running season. Participants have the choice between two distances:
- Feast Day 5K
- Feast Day 1 Mile+ (approximately 1.4 miles)
The 1-mile event consists of a single lap around Ward Lake. The 5K is an additional distance option introduced for this year's event. Registration is open to the public, with a discounted rate available for KRC members.
Bib pick-up and participant check-in take place on the morning of the race at the event location. The event is organized as a community activity to celebrate the holiday before traditional Thanksgiving meals. Registration for both distances concludes on November 25, 2026.
