Splash of Color Fun Run/Walk

The Splash of Color Fun Run/Walk is a community event held at Ward Lake in Ketchikan, organized by Kayhi's Rotary Interact Club and the Ketchikan Wellness Coalition. The event focuses on supporting Mental Health and Suicide Awareness. Participants complete one lap around Ward Lake, and they have the option to run or walk the course.

Available registration categories include:

  • Splash of Color Fun Run/Walk 1 Lap (18 & under)
  • Splash of Color Fun Run/Walk 1 Lap (Adults 19+)
  • Splash of Color Fun Run/Walk 1 Lap (Group of 4)

Pre-run activities and in-person registration take place at the venue. Attendees can access mental health and suicide awareness resources and participate in activities such as face painting. Participants are also given the opportunity to write specifically on the back of their shirts to indicate who or what they are running for.

Registration includes specific items while supplies last, such as t-shirts, rainbow sunglasses, and fresh-squeezed lemonade. For group registrations, only one participant is required to register for a group of four people. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
