About the race
Firecracker 5000m is a downhill, point-to-point 5,000-meter race held at Corktown Park in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Renowned as Canada’s fastest 5km course, the route runs through tree-lined streets in downtown Hamilton and is conducted on a certified Athletics Canada course with chip timing. The event offers bus transport to the start, custom finisher medals, and post-race hot food, plus numerous draw prizes.
