Firecracker 4 Miler - Charleston
The event takes place at Laurel Hill County Park in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, with park access through the Highway 41 entrance at 1400 Highway 41, Mount Pleasant, SC 29465. The program includes two distances:
- 4 Mile Run
- 1 Mile...ish Kids Run
Race packets are available on site the morning of the event starting at 7:30 AM. The kids run is scheduled to begin after the majority of the 4 mile runners have finished, typically later in the morning. Organizers note that conditions can be hot and muggy and recommend that participants prepare accordingly.
On-site amenities after the race include music and food options such as hotdogs and cold beverages. Proceeds from the event support Newberry College Track & Field and Cross Country.
