Farragut Freedom Run
The Farragut Freedom Run is an annual July 4th running event in Farragut, Tennessee. It offers point to point 1 mile and 2 mile courses that are USATF certified (1 Mile - TN16035MS, 2 Mile - TN16036MS). Because both courses are point to point, they are not eligible for a USATF record.
The race begins on S. Campbell Station in front of First Citizen Bank at 100 S Campbell Station Rd, Farragut, TN 37934, and is scheduled just ahead of the Town of Farragut Independence Day parade. The courses are described as relatively flat and fast and are open to runners and walkers of all ages.
Registration fees vary by date and age: adults are $25 through July 3 and $30 on July 4; children 10 and under are $15 through July 3 and $20 on July 4. Packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Knoxville on July 3 and at the start location on July 4. Race day registration is available at the start location.
Proceeds from the event benefit Smoky Mountain Service Dogs. Awards include overall male and female, overall master, grand master, senior master veteran categories, and top three in each age group.
