Health First Fight Child Hunger 5K 2027
The Health First Fight Child Hunger 5K takes place on Saturday, January 9, 2027 at Viera High School, 6103 Stadium Parkway, Brevard County, FL 32940. The event is a family friendly Run/Walk that raises funds to meet the needs of hungry children in Brevard County.
Proceeds support two local organizations: The Children’s Hunger Project and the Sharing Center of Central Brevard. Organizers state that 100% of event proceeds help feed local vulnerable children. For a tax deductible donation of $1,000, businesses, congregations, or individuals can take part as a Best of Brevard sponsor in the Race to End Childhood Hunger.
Packet pickup and registration are scheduled the day before the race at Running Zone, 3696 N Wickham Rd, Melbourne. Event features include event T shirts, participant medals, a pancake breakfast, music, an awards ceremony, goody bags, and vendor booths. The Children’s Hunger Project has provided weekend and school break food packages to elementary school children in Brevard since 2010.
