Fifth Street Cross Summer Camp - Kempton, PA
Fifth Street Cross Summer Camp is a weekend sports and camping event held at the Kempton Community Center on July 31 and August 1, 2026. The program combines off-road running, cyclocross racing, multiple gravel routes, and an evening endurance challenge, alongside on-site camping and food service. Tent sites are available at no charge and RV hook-ups are offered for a fee. Indoor restrooms are provided and food and beverages are available on Friday and Saturday. Family and guest meal passes are listed as available.
Events include:
- 5 km run, two-lap off-road course
- Cyclocross race, multi-lap evening races with lights required
- 100 miles gravel - Backcountry Loop, remote gravel roads, 8,072 feet climbing
- 100 km gravel - Highlands loop, 5,603 feet climbing
- 31 km gravel - Lakeside loop, scenic route
- Sundown Rundown, a last-run-standing challenge
- Summer Camp full experience, a weekend camp pass covering main events
The off-road course used for the 5 km, cyclocross and Sundown Rundown runs through woods and fields and gains over 80 feet of elevation per lap. Gravel rides are unsupported, travel remote backroads, and include limited services such as farm stands or convenience stores along the way.
