FGSO Glow 5K Run / 1 Mile Walk
The Second Annual FGSO Glow 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk is organized by the First Generation Student Organization at Northeastern State University. The event is scheduled for November 5, 2026, at Seminary Hall, 609 N Grand Ave, Tahlequah, OK.
Two event options are offered:
- 5K
- 1 Mile
Registration fees are listed as $30 for the 5K and $25 for the 1 Mile. Registration opens September 22, 2026 and closes November 4, 2026. The first 75 registered participants are listed to receive a free T shirt.
The course is described as a glow themed route with neon displays and glowsticks, consisting of three full loops around campus and starting and ending in front of Seminary Hall. Neon apparel is indicated as mandatory. Pre race activities on the event day include yard games, music, and glow related decorations and displays.
Every participant will receive a finisher medal, and special medals are reserved for the top three overall 5K finishers. There is no professional timing company noted; volunteers will record finish times. Packet pick up takes place in front of Seminary Hall on November 4 and November 5.
