Festival Ironwood Walk, Run, & Roll
The Festival Ironwood Walk, Run, & Roll takes place on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in downtown Ironwood, Michigan. The event is based at Old Depot Park, 150 N Lowell Street, with the course starting near the Depot and finishing on the Western Gateway Trail across from the park. The event offers two course options:
- 2 mile Walk/Fun Run
- 5 mile Run
Both courses include some hills and are on public streets and trail segments. Wheelchair entrants are encouraged; rollerbladers and dogs are not permitted. Awards are presented for the top overall male and female in each distance and for the top two finishers of each gender in each age division. Additional recognitions include youngest and oldest participants, farthest traveled, and first to sign up. Door prizes are distributed after the race and require presence to win.
Refreshments are provided with water available on course and water, fruit, and cookies at the finish. Registration categories and fees are set for single entrants and for families of four or more; early registration includes a race t shirt and there is a deadline to guarantee a shirt.
