Festival Foods Turkey Trot Manitowoc
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot in Manitowoc takes place at Red Arrow Park on Thanksgiving Day. This holiday event offers several course options and attracts families, runners, and walkers to participate in a morning of outdoor activity. Participants can choose between different distances and formats based on their preference.
The event features the following distances and categories:
- 5 Mile Run
- 2 Mile Fun Run
- 2 Mile Walk
- 2 Mile Dog Jog
The staging area is located at Red Arrow Park, with bib and t-shirt pick-up held at the JFK Fieldhouse. To manage the flow of the event, participants are organized into three distinct waves. The first wave includes the 5 mile runners and 2 mile fun runners, followed by the 2 mile walkers. The final wave is reserved for the Dog Jog, which is restricted to the 2 mile course only. For safety and organization, walkers, strollers, and pets are asked to line up at the rear of their designated groups.
Registration inclusions depend on the sign-up date, with early registrants receiving long-sleeve shirts in their preferred sizes. All participants have access to snacks and a personal pumpkin pie upon completing their run or walk.
