Maritime Marathon : Manitowoc, WI (June 6, 2027)
The Maritime Marathon is an out-and-back road race along Lake Michigan between Manitowoc and Two Rivers. The course runs along the lakeshore and is described as flat; it is also a Boston Qualifier. The 2027 event marks the 15th edition.
Multiple race formats are offered, including in-person and virtual options:
- 26.2 miles - Marathon
- 13.1 miles - Half marathon
- 26.2 miles - Marathon 4 person relay
- 5.75 miles - 5 nautical mile run
- 26.2 miles - Virtual marathon
- 13.1 miles - Virtual half marathon
The event raises funds for local non-profits. To date the race has donated over $250,000 to local charities in the Manitowoc - Two Rivers area.
