2025 Festival Foods Turkey Trot Janesville
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot takes place in downtown Janesville on Thanksgiving morning. The event base is located at Downtown Janesville Festival Street, with bib and t-shirt collection held at the Janesville Boys & Girls Club Gymnasium.
Participants can choose from two different distances:
- 5-mile course
- 2-mile course
The 5-mile course remains open to vehicle traffic during the event, and participants are required to follow all traffic signs and signals. For the 2-mile course, a specific "Dog Jog" option is available. Participants with dogs gather at the Festival Street Lawn and start after all other participants have crossed the line. Dogs are restricted to the 2-mile route only and are not permitted inside event buildings.
Registration includes a long-sleeve shirt and post-race snacks, including a personal pumpkin pie for finishers. Walkers and those with strollers are positioned at the back of the starting groups. Parking is available in downtown Janesville and at nearby YMCA lots. The event is supported by local volunteers, who assist with packet pickup on the day before the race and on Thanksgiving morning.
