Stride 4 Shelter: Benefiting Housing 4 Our Vets
Stride 4 Shelter is scheduled for April 11, 2026 in Janesville, Wisconsin, with the start and finish at Riverside Park North Pavilion. The event supports Rock Valley Community Programs' Housing 4 Our Vets transitional housing program.

Online registration closes Friday, April 10 at 4:00 PM and same-day registration is available. Registrants receive a race bib, a commemorative event t-shirt, and a finisher medallion with lanyard. Registering before March 20 guarantees race t-shirt size. Professional timing will be provided for runners and medals will be awarded to first, second and third place finishers in the men's, women's and youth divisions. The event will be held rain or shine.
Housing 4 Our Vets is a program on the Rock Valley Community Programs campus that provides transitional housing and services for homeless male veterans. The program can accommodate up to 48 veterans and offers support for up to 24 months, including utilities with cable and wireless internet, transportation options, three meals daily, and personalized case management. Services also include monthly pro-social activities and group therapy focused on substance use recovery and life skills. The program serves veterans in Wisconsin and Northern Illinois and partners with the Madison VA Hospital. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
