Stride 4 Shelter: Benefiting Housing 4 Our Vets is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026 in Janesville, WI. The venue is Riverside Park - North Pavilion at 2600 Parkside Dr. The event includes the following distances:

- 1-Mile Kids Fun Run
Online registration closes Friday, April 10 at 4:00 PM. Same-day registration opens on the event day at 8:00 AM. Registration and check-in are available from 8:00 AM to 9:45 AM. Entry fees listed are $25 for the 5K and $10 for the kids run; fees increase after January 5, 2026.
Race details and beneficiary
Professional timing is provided by Race Day Events. Medals are awarded to first, second and third place finishers in the men's, women's and youth divisions. All registrants receive a race bib, a commemorative event t-shirt and a finisher medallion with lanyard. Registrants who register before March 20 are guaranteed a race t-shirt size.
The event benefits Rock Valley Community Programs, Inc.'s Housing 4 Our Vets. Housing 4 Our Vets is a transitional housing program for homeless male veterans. The program accepts up to 48 veterans and offers up to 24 months of support, including housing, utilities, transportation options, three daily meals and personalized case management. The program also provides monthly pro-social activities and group therapy for substance use recovery and life skills. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
