2025 Festival Foods Turkey Trot Hudson
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot Hudson is an annual community event taking place on Thanksgiving morning at the Hudson YMCA on Vine Street. The event provides an opportunity for participants to engage in physical activity before the holiday festivities. Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5-mile course
- 2-mile course
The event is open to adults and youth under 18. There is also a specific option for participants to bring their dogs, known as the Dog Jog. Dogs are restricted to the 2-mile course and must line up in a designated area behind the other participants. For safety reasons, dogs are not permitted inside buildings during packet pick-up or on race morning.
All registered participants receive a long-sleeve shirt. Those who finish their run or walk are provided with snacks and a personal pumpkin pie. Bib and t-shirt distribution occurs at the Hudson YMCA during the afternoon on the Wednesday before the event and early on Thanksgiving morning. Participants must present the QR code from their confirmation email to collect their materials.
The course logistics require walkers and those with strollers to line up at the back of their respective groups. Official merchandise is also available for purchase at the local Festival Foods in the weeks leading up to the race and at the event site during race week.
