Ferring "5 'n' 5" West Sussex 2027
Ferring "5 'n' 5" returns to Ferring Country Centre on 09 July 2027 for its third year at the site on Rife Way. The event offers multiple running options on quiet roads and trails around the centre, the Ferring Rife and a private sea front. The Rife runs from the centre down to the sea at East Preston between Worthing and Littlehampton.
Race distances and categories include:
- 5 miles
- 5 km
- Junior 5 km (12–15 years)
- Kids fun run for younger children
The event is organised by Raw Energy Pursuits with support from volunteers from the centre. Timing is provided by ST App Service and there will be no chip timing. Entry fees include a unique medal. The event is a charity event with all profit directed to the Ferring Country Centre.
Ferring Country Centre is a 32‑acre site with a riding school, garden centre, café, soft play, gift shop and farm. For 40 years the centre has provided a supportive place for people with learning disabilities to develop skills in woodwork, gardening, riding therapy and cooking, and activities on site contribute to that work.
