Ferring "5 'n' 5" is a trail and road running event at Ferring Country Centre, Rife Way, Ferring, West Sussex (BN12 5JZ) on 3 July 2026. Distances on offer are:

Entry fees listed by the organiser include: 5 km £15 (15 years and over) rising to £17 after 9 January 2026; 5 km junior (12-15 years) £8; 5 Mile £20 rising to £22 after 9 January 2026; Mini Mile (children under 12 years) £5. Race numbers can be collected on the day. Entry includes a medal, a water bottle and free photos.
Course, timing and organisation
The routes use quiet roads, trails and the private seafront around Ferring Rife, the stream that runs from the Country Centre to the sea at East Preston. The organiser describes the course as very flat. Timing is provided via the ST App Service; there will be no chip timing. Raw Energy Pursuits Ltd is running the event and will use volunteers from Ferring Country Centre. Route maps and marshal positions are provided by the organiser.
Charity and venue
The event is a charity fund-raiser with all profit directed to Ferring Country Centre (Charity Number: 297286). The centre runs a Day Service and public enterprises including a Riding School, Rangers Café, Dales Farm, Garden Centre and Gift Shop; these enterprises operate seven days a week and support the centre’s work.
