About the race
Feral Nonsense is a trail race held at Harms Woods North in Morton Grove, Illinois, on November 14, 2026. The event is organized by Cussing Runner and offers multiple lap-based distances on natural trails.
The course transitions from gravel to single-track trail. The event runs as repeated laps, with an aid station located at the start of every lap. All distances begin together on race day. Packet pickup is available on race morning only. Registration closes November 1.

- 9 miles, 3 laps
The organizer has inclusion policies that provide some free entries for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ athletes while funding lasts; codes are distributed without public disclosure of recipients. The event accepts each entrant’s declared gender at face value and allows non-binary athletes to request adjustments to registration records after they register.
