5k Fun Run x Printer's Row Brewing
This is an untimed 5k fun run presented by the Illinois Brewery Running Series at Printer's Row Brewing in Chicago. The route starts and finishes at the taproom and follows a clearly marked, scenic course through the surrounding neighborhood. The course is open and roads are not closed; participants are expected to follow all traffic laws.
Event registration includes one craft brew at the finish, a choice of Brewery Running Series swag (collector’s pint glass or a seasonal item), and entry into a prize drawing for merchandise and beer. Post-run offerings include music, games, giveaways, and partner-provided items. Ten percent of event proceeds support local nonprofits. The Brewery Running Series reports over $700,000 donated to local organizations to date.
Practical details noted for the day: a valid ID is required for alcoholic beverages and participants under 21 are eligible for a nonalcoholic beverage. The event proceeds rain or shine, there is no bag check, and dogs and strollers are allowed with care subject to the brewery’s policies. Refunds are available up to seven days before the event.
