Felicity Gourd & Harvest Festival 5K Walk/Run
The Felicity Gourd & Harvest Festival 5K is a community event presented in partnership with the local FCCLA chapter. The event offers in-person and virtual participation and includes a youth division and adult-only categories.
The course begins at the front of the elementary school in Felicity, Ohio, runs along the back side of town, loops through the Franklin Township Walking Trail twice, follows a dead-end road and returns toward the elementary school start. The paved route has a slight gradual incline with a few small hills at the park and is suitable for running, walking and pushing a stroller.
Timing uses digital bib chip technology so every participant receives an official finish time recorded when the bib crosses the start and finish lines. The event includes age-group awards for the adult run and a top-three GOURD AWARD for walkers, with the walking competition run on an honor system. Registration details vary by division; fees listed include a standard adult fee of $25 and a youth fee of $10.
