Vernal Equinox 48-24-12-8 Hour Run

Vernal Equinox is a multi-distance timed event held at Majestic Farm in Batavia, Ohio on wooded trails and open meadows. The course is a 2 mile loop that includes woods, meadows, and a gravel road, with a large barn at the start and finish of each loop. Typical ultrarunning aid station foods will be offered, including hot items such as homemade soup, grilled cheese, and fresh coffee; vegan options will be available. The event operates as a cupless race; each participant receives a reusable cup in their race packet and aid stations will not provide paper cups. Bowls and plates will be provided for hot food.

Free clean horse stalls are available for use as staging, storage, or napping during the race; stalls nearest the timing area are prioritized for the longest events and may be shared. RV hookups are available for a fee. Event swag includes long sleeve Rabbit shirts and custom finisher awards handmade in Ohio; belt buckles are offered for select long distances. A sponsor is offering cash prizes for new 24 hour and 48 hour course records. An Athletes With Disability division is provided with specific eligibility and guide rules; the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. There are no refunds; a tiered deferral policy applies.
