Event
The Feel The Spirit 5k is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026, in Cheektowaga, New York. The event is the 20th running and offers a 5 km road race. The race venue is Infant of Prague Church, 921 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga, NY 14225.
Registration and fees
Registration pricing follows tiered dates: $25 through December 31, $30 from January 1 through April 10, and $40 on race morning. Participants aged 75 and over register free (discount applied at checkout). T-shirts are optional, cost $10 extra, and are available only to pre-registered participants; sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by March 22. The event is open to ages 1 to 98.
Course and logistics
The course is USA Track and Field certified (certificate #NY18003JJ). Packet pickup and in-person registration are available the day before the race (April 10) and on race day (April 11). Timing and results are provided by WNY Finish Line and Timing Service. Plenty of parking is noted at the venue.
Awards and post-race
Awards include 1st place overall M/F, 1st overall Masters (40+) M/F, and 1st overall Grand Masters (60+) M/F. Additional awards are 1st through 3rd M/F in each age group; duplicate awards are not allowed. Age groups range from 14 and under up to 80+. A post-race party at Henesey Hall is open to guests and includes beer, soft drinks, hot dogs and vegan options, a bake sale, raffle baskets, and door prizes.
