Event overview
The Febapple Frozen event takes place on February 21, 2026 in South Orange / Maplewood, New Jersey at South Mountain Reservation. Distances offered are:
- 50 Mile
- 50 Kilometer
- 20 Miles
- 10 Miles
All distances are approximate and use a 10 mile loop. The entry fees listed are $105 for the 50 Mile, $95 for the 50K, $65 for the 20 Mile, and $55 for the 10 Mile. The race includes aid stations, official timing, event swag, and awards for the top three male and female finishers. No medals are provided.
Logistics and policies
The start area is at Summit Field picnic area. The closest parking lot in the park is at the dog park off Crest Drive; a provided GPS address is 12 Bear Lane, Maplewood, NJ 07079. Race bib pickup begins one hour before each race. A course map, elevation profile, and parking map are available.
All races have a single published finish cutoff; the event organizer may end a participant's race if they will not meet that cutoff. Runners in the 50 Mile are advised to bring a headlamp. The refund policy allows a 50% refund until eight weeks before the race; after that no refunds. Bib transfers require the new runner’s information to be provided to the organizer.
