Feaster Five Thanksgiving Day Road Race
The Feaster Five is an annual Thanksgiving Day road race hosted by the Merrimack Valley Striders in Andover, Massachusetts. The event includes a main 5 mile race, a 5K run/walk, and a Kids Fun Run with several course options. Registration for the 2026 event opens in mid July, and Schneider Electric is listed as the presenting sponsor.
Proceeds benefit local programs and scholarships, including Bellesini Academy, the Merrimack Valley Y, the Merrimack Valley Striders high school scholarship fund, and the Sidney Mae Olson Rainbow Fund. The race is accompanied by a two day race expo at the Andover/North Andover YMCA for bib and shirt pick up, and bib pick up is also available near the starting area on race morning.
The Kids Fun Run offers three courses: a 60 meter inclusive track course, a 400 meter track course, and a 1 kilometer grass and track loop. The event notes accessibility efforts through a partnership with the Rare Road Foundation. Volunteers support expo operations and race day activities, and volunteer registration opens in the fall.
Awards include overall and age group gift cards, and periodic finish line prizes distributed to every 25th finisher. Parking is available at nearby Brickstone Square, Stop and Shop plaza, and the Andover/North Andover YMCA. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
