Feaster Five Thanksgiving Day Road Race
The Feaster Five is an annual Thanksgiving Day road race in Andover, Massachusetts, organized by the Merrimack Valley Striders. The event includes in-person and virtual options and supports local charities, school scholarships, and community programs.
The event offers several race distances and a kids program:
- 5 Mile road race
- 5K run/walk
- Kids Fun Run with Mini, Short, and Long course options
The Kids Fun Run features three courses: a 60 meter Mini/inclusive track course, a 400 meter track Short course, and a 1 kilometer Long course that uses grass and track. The kids program partners with the Rare Road Foundation to provide an inclusive option for athletes with rare conditions and disabilities.
Race weekend includes a two-day race expo and bib/shirt pick up at the Andover/North Andover YMCA the Tuesday and Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Bib pick up is also available at an on-site location near the starting area on race morning. Parking is available at nearby lots including Brickstone Square, Stop and Shop plaza, and the YMCA.
Prizes are awarded to top overall and age group finishers in both the 5K and 5 Mile events. Proceeds benefit Bellesini Academy, the Merrimack Valley YMCA, the MVS High School Scholarship Fund, and the Sidney Mae Olson Rainbow Fund.
