Event overview
The Feaster Five Road Race is a Thanksgiving Day event held in Andover, Massachusetts. The 2025 edition is the 38th annual race, presented by Schneider Electric and hosted by the Merrimack Valley Striders running club. The event offers in-person and virtual options and raises proceeds for local charities and scholarship funds, including Bellesini Academy, the Merrimack Valley YMCA, the Merrimack Valley Striders Scholarship Fund, and the Sidney Mae Olson Rainbow Fund.

The kids program, Sidney’s Rainbow Run, uses three courses on Balmoral Street track: a 60 meter inclusive course, a 400 meter short course, and a 1 km long course on grass and track. The Race Expo and bib/shirt pick up take place at the Andover/North Andover YMCA in the days before the race. The first 5,000 registrants are guaranteed a long-sleeved race t-shirt. Feaster Five finishers receive a Table Talk apple pie while supplies last. Volunteer opportunities are available before, during, and after the event. A free Couch-to-5K training program begins October 5 and meets on Sunday mornings for eight weeks at the race start location.
