Event Overview
The Feast of Trumpets event takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. It is held at the Rober Smith Family Park in Fate, Texas. The event offers several distances.
Distances
The following race distances are available:
- Kid's Dash: A free, untimed 100-200 meter sprint for children.
- 1 Mile: An untimed run or walk. Participants receive a finisher medal and a participation t-shirt.
- 5K: A timed run or walk. Participants are eligible for age group awards.
- 10K: A timed run or walk. Participants are eligible for age group awards.
Registration Details
Registration fees vary by event. The Kid's Dash is free. The 1 Mile costs $18, the 5K costs $35, and the 10K costs $42. Prices increase after February 28, 2026.
Included registration for the 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile events provides an event-themed t-shirt and a custom finisher medal. To guarantee a t-shirt size, participants must register by September 5.
Age group awards are given for the top four finishers in each division for the 5K and 10K races. Categories include male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Overall awards are also presented for top male, female, masters (40+), and grand masters (60+) finishers. All awards are distributed on-site and will not be shipped.
Additional Information
A virtual race option is available for 2026; participants who select this will have their shirt and medal mailed to them the week of the race. The organizing group donates a portion of profits and all donations to Encounter Church in Fate. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
