FBE Halloween Apple Run
The FBE Halloween Apple Run is scheduled for Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Belmont High School Track, 291 Concord Ave, Belmont, MA 02478. The event offers two distances and both individual and team entries.
- 5K : scenic 5-kilometer route through Belmont, begins and ends at the Belmont High School track.
- 2K : cross country style loop along Concord Avenue and Clay Pit Pond, begins and ends at the track; suitable for runners and walkers, jogging strollers may work for very young children.
Online registration fees are Apple 5K $35, Apple 2K $20, and Apple Combo (5K and 2K) $40. In-person fees are higher: Apple 5K $40, Apple 2K $25, Apple Combo $45. Online registration closes two days before race day. Registrants who register by September 30 will receive a hi-tec short sleeve quik-dri running shirt.
T-shirt and bib pickup is available the day before the event at Chenery Upper Elementary, outside the rear entrance. Bibs are also available at the Belmont High School track on race morning, though early pickup is recommended. Teams require at least four members; team prizes are awarded for fastest female, male, mixed, and largest team. Individual and age group awards, costume awards, and team awards are part of the event. A Couch to 5K training program with eight week beginner and moderate plans is provided. Some parking is available at Belmont High School, and the site is reachable by car and public transport.
