Event Overview
The Fast Friday 10k is a 10 km road race held at Exwick Playing Fields, EX4 1EG, in Exeter. The next edition is scheduled for 3 April 2026 (Good Friday). The race is open to runners aged 15 and over on the day of the event.
The course follows a fast, flat 2-lap route on roads and is described as suitable for all abilities. The event is England Athletics licensed and the route is officially measured, so times are Power of 10 eligible. The race is run offline with on-site participation only.

Race Features and Facilities
The race uses professional chip timing, with results produced to UK Athletics rules and eligible for Power of 10 and Run Britain rankings. There is a large finish clock at the finish line for reference.
Official pacemakers are provided at a range of target times, including 36, 38, 40, 42, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and 70 minutes. The course is fully signed and marshalled.
All finishers receive a medal. First aid cover is provided by an ambulance service.
For 2026, the Race HQ is Boulder Exe, Tudor St, Exeter EX4 3BR, with number pick-up taking place there. Toilets and limited changing facilities are available at Race HQ, and toilets are also available at Exwick Sports Hub (EX4 2BQ) before the race.
