Event Overview
The Fast Friday 10K is a road race held on Good Friday. It is an officially accurate and England Athletics-licensed 10 km event. The event supports Force Cancer Charity. All finishers receive a medal.
The Course
The course is a flat and fast two-lap route on roads. It has been measured by an accredited course measurer. The route is fully signed and marshalled. The event aims to provide official pacemakers targeting finish times from 36 to 70 minutes, though their availability is not guaranteed. Professional chip timing is used.
Event Details
Number collection and the Race HQ is at Boulder Exe on Tudor Street in Exeter (EX4 3BR). Limited toilets and changing facilities are available there. Additional toilets are available before the race at Exwick Sports Hub. Parking at the Race HQ is very limited and operates on a first-come, first-served basis. On-street parking and nearby pay-and-display car parks are alternatives.
Entry fees are £22 for England Athletics competition license holders and £25 for standard entry. The event has sustainability measures, including race pack collection on the day and the use of compostable cups at the water station. Entry transfers are permitted up to one week before race day. The event does not offer refunds or deferrals, but entry insurance can be purchased separately.
Charity and Community
The event supports Force Cancer Charity. Volunteers are needed, and those who help receive one free entry to a future race as a thank you. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
