Fast Bananas Trail Race at Serenbe
The Fast Bananas Trail Race takes place on November 14, 2026 on the Serenbe trails in Chattahoochee Hills, about 45 minutes south of Atlanta. The community offers about 15 miles of trails and includes shops, restaurants, nature trails, animals, and farms. The start and finish for all races are located in front of the Serenbe pool on Promfield Road.
Race distances:
- 1 mile fun run for children ages 5-12.
- 5k
- 10k
Parents may accompany their child during the 1-mile fun run but accompanying adults will not receive a medal. Participation medals and t-shirts are planned for all events; shirts are guaranteed for registrations completed by November 1. Age-group prizes apply only to the 5k and 10k races. Awards include overall female and male winners and top three finishers female and male in these age groups: 0-10, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Course maps are available on Strava and the trail will be marked with arrows and colored flags: pink for the 1-mile, yellow for the 5k, and blue for the 10k. Volunteers will be stationed on course. Dogs and strollers are not allowed on the course for safety and liability reasons. Parking is available on the Promfield Road gravel lot with volunteers directing traffic; Promfield Road will be closed from the Terra School to Serenbe Lane.
