The Fast and the Furriest 5K
The Fast and the Furriest 5K is a fundraising event for Angels Among Us Pet Rescue at Webb Bridge Park in Alpharetta, Georgia. Pre- and post-race activities take place on the green space between the baseball fields. For closest parking, use the lot by the playground.

The event offers both an in person 5K race and a virtual 5K option. It is open to runners, walkers, children and strollers, and participants may bring dogs. The course includes an aid and water station that participants pass three times; the station serves both people and dogs. Each competitor receives a custom race t-shirt and post-race snacks. Virtual participants within the United States receive a limited edition tee by mail.
Awards are given to the top three female and male finishers in each age group: 10 and under; 11 to 19; 20 to 29; 30 to 39; 40 to 49; 50 to 59; 60 to 69; and 70 and over. There are additional prizes for overall male and female, overall masters male and female, and all canine finishers receive a prize.
Registration fees vary by date with tiered pricing; registration closes the evening of 10/17. The event is scheduled to take place rain or shine; in severe weather it may be canceled and no refunds, transfers, or deferments are provided if cancellation is due to weather.
