Farmingdale Ram Run 5K Run/Walk
The Farmingdale Ram Run is held at Farmingdale State College, Nold Athletic Complex, located at 2350 Broadhollow Rd, Farmingdale, NY. The event features a certified 5K course with the start and finish on the track, plus a separate kids fun run that is one lap around the track. Registration is not yet open.
The Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Club operates an annual food drive at the athletic complex and will accept non-perishable donations before the race. Event amenities listed include high quality participant shirts, post-race refreshments including hot chocolate, and one complimentary beer with a race bib at Changing Times restaurant for participants 21 and older.
Awards include overall shoe prizes for top male and female finishers, top shoes for male and female FSC students, and top three finishers in multiple age groups from 14 and under through 70 plus. Shoes for awards are donated by a local running store. Overall winners are not eligible for other awards.
Pre-race packet and t-shirt pickup is scheduled on days prior to the event at the Alumni Smart Energy House on campus and at a local running store in Farmingdale; day-of race number pickup is available in the athletic complex lobby.
