Farmingdale Ram Run 5K Run/Walk
The event is a community running event held at Farmingdale State College at the Nold Athletic Complex in Farmingdale, NY. The program includes a certified 5K course and a free Kids Fun Run of one lap around the track.

Amenities include high quality T-shirts, post-race refreshments including hot chocolate, and one free beer with race bib at a nearby restaurant for participants 21 and older. The campus Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Club organizes a Ram Run Food Drive and accepts non-perishable donations at the athletic complex before the race.
Awards are presented to the overall top male and female, top male and female FSC student, and the top three male and female finishers in multiple age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, and 70 plus. Shoes for some awards are donated by Runner's Edge. Overall winners are not eligible for other awards.
Pre-race packet and T-shirt pickup is offered on campus and at a local running store on the days before the event, and number pickup and day of registration take place at the Nold Athletic Complex lobby.
