Farmingdale Ram Run 5K Run/Walk
The Farmingdale Ram Run includes a certified 5K and a free Kids Fun Run held at Farmingdale State College, Nold Athletic Complex. The event features a start and finish on the track and a course certified for the 5K distance.
The Health, Wellness, and Nutrition Club operates a food drive at the athletic complex and will accept non-perishable items before the race. Post-race amenities include race shirts described as high quality, post-race refreshments including hot chocolate, and one complimentary beer at Changing Times restaurant for participants age 21 and over who present a race bib.
Award categories include shoes for the top overall male and female, shoes for the top male and female FSC student, and top three male and female finishers in age groups: 14 and under; 15 to 19; 20 to 24; 25 to 29; 30 to 34; 35 to 39; 40 to 44; 45 to 49; 50 to 54; 55 to 59; 60 to 64; 65 to 69; 70 and over. Overall winners are not eligible for other awards.
Pre-race packet and t-shirt pickup is available at the Alumni Smart Energy House on campus and at Runner's Edge in Farmingdale. Day of race number pickup is available at the Nold Athletic Complex lobby. Live online results, same-day finish line photos, and event photos are provided.
