Event overview
The 2026 FAR Resolution (Fun!) Run is scheduled for January 1, 2026 in Cañon City, Colorado. The event is organized by Fremont Adventure Recreation and is the seventh annual edition. For 2026 the event operates in a fun-run format without official chip-timing. An economy entry option is listed as $15 for adults and $5 for youth. The event includes a cocoa station.

Both courses are out-and-back routes along Tunnel Drive next to the Arkansas River and pass through historic road tunnels. The 5K has one aid station at the turnaround. The 10K has two aid stations, one near the 1.5-mile mark and one at the turnaround. The course is described as relatively flat with one steep-grade hill and is wheelchair accessible and stroller- or chariot-friendly.
