FAR Resolution Run
The FAR Resolution Run takes place at Pueblo Community College Fremont Campus in Cañon City, Colorado, along Tunnel Drive next to the Arkansas River on January 1, 2027. The event offers out and back courses that pass through the area’s historic tunnels and return to the PCC campus.
Distances offered:
- 5K out and back along Tunnel Drive through historic tunnels
- 10K out and back along Tunnel Drive, aid station encountered twice
Both courses are described as relatively flat with one steep grade hill. Routes are wheelchair accessible and friendly to strollers or chariots, with a few spots of deeper gravel. The 5K course includes one aid station at the turnaround. The 10K course includes an aid station at about 1.5 miles and again near 4.5 miles.
Packet pickup and day of check-in are located at PCC near the start area on race morning, and day of registration is available. The event is scheduled to end earlier in the day so volunteers can depart in potentially cold weather. Participants are asked to select the distance that matches their ability and expected finish time.
Registration includes tiered pricing by date with youth pricing lower than adult pricing. Proceeds support FAR trail stewardship, community building, and race day needs such as porta potties and hot cocoa. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
