About the race
The Famously Hot Pink event is part of the 36th Walk for Life hosted by Prisma Health Midlands Foundation on October 17, 2026, at Segra Park in Columbia, South Carolina. The event combines timed runs and a community walk and has supported Prisma Health Breast Centers for more than three decades, raising over $13.1 million to date.
Race options listed for the day include:

- 800-meter Aflac Kids Fun Run (about 1/2 mile)
All registrations include an event T-shirt, and registered breast cancer survivors receive a survivor’s hat. Aflac Kids Fun Run participants receive a bib and a pair of "cool" sunglasses; participants are able to finish at home plate inside Segra Park’s ballpark. The running and walking courses and the walk all finish inside Segra Park, where finish-line celebrations will include a photo wall with balloons.
Proceeds from this edition will fund a new 38-foot Prisma Health mobile mammography van equipped with a 3-D mammography unit, a waiting/patient intake room, a changing room, and a scan room. Funds will also continue to support post-mastectomy camisoles, post-surgery breast bears, and other support materials for patients and families.
