Fall Running Series - Peninsula, OH
The Fall Running Series runs on Tuesdays from September 29 to October 27, 2026, in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Peninsula, Ohio. The series consists of five weekly themed trail races held at different park locations, each with a course length between three and five miles. Each event includes a surprise twist that is revealed shortly before the start.
Event locations and course lengths:
- Pine Hollow - 3.8 miles
- Howe Meadow - 4.65 miles
- Kendall Lake - 4.1 miles
- Oak Hill - 4.7 miles
- Camp Butler - 3 to 5 miles
Series participants receive a package of swag that includes a fleece hoodie, Feetures socks, a Nathan strobe light, and a finisher medal. Participants who enter individual races select items from a grab bag assortment.
Runners and walkers are welcome. Organizers advise bringing a flashlight or headlamp if walking or running at a moderate pace after dusk. Events are held regardless of weather. Special permission has been granted to run or hike with dogs at the Camp Butler event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
