Fall Fest 5K and Family Fun Run : Wilmington, MA
The Fall Fest 5K and Family Fun Run take place on September 26, 2026 at the Wilmington Town Common, 142 Middlesex Avenue. The event is presented as part of the Fourth Annual Fall Fest Celebration and includes a community 5K road race and a family fun run.
The 5K course begins next to the Fourth of July Headquarters on Route 62/Church Street, proceeds north on Route 62, turns right onto Wildwood Street, left onto Woburn Street, left onto Federal Street, then left onto Middlesex Avenue, and finishes beside the starting area. The route includes gradual inclines and declines. Cones and course directions will be in place for runners and walkers. Water stops are provided along the course. Professional chip timing is supplied by RaceWire. Entry includes wristbands for the Fall Fest event. Participant shirts are offered with a guarantee for registrations made by 8/31. Live music will accompany the finish area. Cash prizes are awarded to top overall finishers and prizes are given for top finishers in each age group.
The race is scheduled for September 26 and is planned to run rain or shine. If Fall Fest is postponed because of weather, the festival may move to October 3 while the 5K remains on September 26. Day of registration and sign in take place outside the Fourth of July Headquarters at 142 Middlesex Avenue. Parking is suggested at St. Thomas Church and Wilmington High School.
