Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Road Runs
The event comprises three road races held within Fall Creek Falls State Park near Spencer and Pikeville, Tennessee. Courses begin and end through the Taft Village area and cross Fall Creek Falls Dam. The Half Marathon is two loops of paved bike trail and park road sections. The 10K and Half Marathon follow paved paths and park roads past the Inn at Fall Creek Falls. The 5K is an out-and-back on a paved path through woods.
Aid stations on course will supply cups of water and Gatorade. Athletes are urged to carry a bottle or container for refills. Timing verification points will be located along the course. The path route is shaded; runners should remain on the side of the road marked with traffic cones on the main park road.
Packet pick up is offered Saturday, August 15 from 5:00 to 6:30 PM CST and Sunday, August 16 beginning at 6:00 AM. There is no on-site registration. Participants receive T-shirts and a finisher medal or award for each distance, and post-race snacks and music are provided.
Awards include overall top three male and female finishers, top male and female Masters (40+), and age-group awards for male and female divisions across standard age brackets. Bald Eagle Events offers optional event insurance; entries are non-transferable and the organizer maintains a no-refund policy.
