Fall Creek Falls Road Runs
The Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K Road Runs take place within Tennessee's most popular state park, situated between Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. The event features a course that utilizes paved bike trails and park roads, passing over the Fall Creek Falls Dam and through the Taft Village area. The route provides a shaded environment for participants as they run through the woods and past the local inn.
Distances available for participants include:
- 13.1 miles (Half Marathon)
- 6.2 miles (10K Run)
- 5 km (5K Run)
The 13.1 mile course consists of two loops on paved bike trails and road sections, while the 5 km route is an out and back course on a paved path. Five aid stations are located along the loop, providing water and hydration drinks; participants are encouraged to carry their own refillable containers. The course includes timing verification points to ensure accurate results.
Participants receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal or award for their respective distance. Post-race snacks and music are provided at the finish area. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top finishers in the Masters category.
