Event Overview
The Fall Creek Falls Half Marathon, 10K & 5K Road Runs takes place at Fall Creek Falls State Park in Spencer, Tennessee. It offers three distances: Half Marathon, 10K Run, and 5K Run. The event is noted for its location within Tennessee's most popular state park.
Course and Location
The runs start and finish in the Taft Village area, crossing the Fall Creek Falls Dam. The 5K is an out-and-back on a paved path through the woods. The 10K and Half Marathon follow a paved path and park roads past the Inn at Fall Creek Falls. The Half Marathon consists of two loops of the paved bike trail and park road sections. The path is described as completely shaded. The park is centrally located between Nashville, Chattanooga, and Knoxville.
Event Details
There is no on-site registration. Packet pickup is available on Saturday and on Sunday before the races. Aid stations with water and Gatorade are positioned along the course, and participants are urged to carry their own bottle for refills. All participants receive a T-shirt and a finisher medal or award for their distance. Post-race snacks and music are provided.
Participant Information
