About the race
The Fall Classic in Tacoma is a community running event held at PLU Meadows Disc Golf Course on October 10, 2026. The main race is a 5K on grass and dirt trails; the course is mostly flat with some gently rolling hills. A 1K Kids event is scheduled before the 5K.
Registration for the 5K opens March 1, 2026 and closes October 8, 2026. The listed registration fee for the 5K is $15. Registrations are also accepted on the day of the event for an additional charge of $5. The 1K Kids event accepts registrations only on the day of the event and has a cost of $5.
Event shirts are available for purchase on site. Award distribution is described as follows: every child in the 1K Kids event receives a finisher ribbon, and 5K ribbons are awarded to the top ten finishers in each gender as they finish. High school cross country races will follow this event.
