Faith, Miles & Memories memorial 5K
This is a memorial 5K taking place on November 14, 2026, at 1399 Willow Lane, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. The event is framed around faith and fellowship and aims to honor the life and community involvement of the event's honoree.
The honoree had interests in running, cycling, community service, and supporting youth at Goshen Baptist Church; the event references those connections and intends to continue that focus through a community run or walk. Participants may run or walk the 5K distance.
Registration opens October 2, 2026, and closes October 17, 2026. The registration fee is $40. A race shirt is included with registration for participants who register by 11:59 PM on Saturday, October 17. Proceeds from the event will benefit two local organizations: NC Bikes for Kids and Clean Up Wilkes, which reflect the honoree’s interest in cycling and community improvement.
The description emphasizes community, youth outreach, and local causes rather than competitive results. The event combines a short running distance with charitable support and community fellowship in North Wilkesboro. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
