Faith in Motion 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Fun Run
Faith in Motion is a community running event held on August 30, 2026, along the Ohio River Greenway Trail in New Albany, Indiana. The event is hosted by the New Albany Seventh Day Adventist Church and uses the New Albany Amphitheater as the start and finish location.
Distances offered:
- 5K timed run/walk
- 1 Mile fun run/walk for kids and seniors
The course includes hydration stations located at mile 0.75 and at the turnaround near 1.55 miles. Light snacks and informal conversation will be available at the finish area after the event.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
Registration information specifies a fee of $30, which includes an event T-shirt in adult sizes S through XXL. Registration opens May 11, 2026, and closes August 30, 2026. To guarantee a race T-shirt, registration must be completed by the T-shirt order deadline of August 14, 2026. Packet pick-up and race day registration are available on race day only.
