Faith in Motion 5K Run/Walk
Faith in Motion takes place on Sunday, August 30, 2026, along the Ohio River Greenway Trail in New Albany, Indiana. The event is hosted by the New Albany Seventh Day Adventist Church and uses the New Albany Amphitheater as the start and finish location.
The program includes a timed 5K run or walk and a short fun run or walk designed for children and seniors. Hydration stations are provided at mile 0.75 and at the turnaround at about 1.55 miles. Strollers are welcome with runners given right of way, and pets should be kept off the race course for safety. Light snacks and informal conversation are provided at the finish area.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers and to the top male and female finishers in these age groups: 12 and under, 13 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over.
Registration costs $30 and includes an event T shirt in adult sizes S to XXL. To guarantee a shirt, registration must be completed by 08/14/26. Race day registration and packet pick up are available at the venue. Registration opens 05/11/26 and closes 08/30/26. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
