Fairmount 5k event

The Fairmount 5k is held at Fairmount Elementary School, 15975 W 50th Ave, Golden, CO 80403. The event includes a 5K run, a Fun Run / Ninja Course, a 5k Walk, and a merch option. The event raises money for student and teacher resources at Fairmount Elementary School.

Entry fees listed on the event page are: Fairmount 5K $31.75 (includes $1.75 fee), Fairmount Fun Run / Ninja Course $21.75 (includes $1.75 fee), Fairmount 5k Walk $26.75 (includes $1.75 fee), and merch $11.50 (includes $1.50 fee). Registration for the 2025 merch item is shown to open on February 9, 2026 at 1:55pm MST.

Refreshments will be available, including fruit, water, and muffins. Food carts and booths noted for the event include Pambosos (serving breakfast burritos and french toast sticks), Traveling Tom's Coffee, and Kona Ice. Medals will be awarded: overall top 3, top 3 in age groups by gender (under 7; 8-9; 10-11; 12-15; 16-19; 20-40; 40+), and top 3 costumes.
