Fairhaven Flyer 10K
The Fairhaven Flyer is a 10K road race held at Fairhaven Lake in Lytham St Annes on Sunday 12 September 2027. The course is largely flat and runs along the coastal frontage with an out-and-back section that returns to the lakeside finish. The start area sits beside the Spitfire Memorial and Event HQ is based at Fairhaven Lake, where registration, bib collection and race information are located.
Event services include a staffed water station around halfway and water at the finish, a baggage drop and a key drop at Event HQ, portable toilets, and professional medical cover for the duration of the event. The race is chip timed; the timing chip is attached to the race number and runners should ensure their bib is visible when crossing the finish so results are recorded correctly. Results are published online shortly after the race.
Parking is available in and around Fairhaven Lake, including St Paul’s Avenue car park, plus nearby on-street parking subject to local restrictions. Ansdell & Fairhaven railway station is the nearest rail station within walking distance and local buses stop close to the venue. Event HQ and the finish are on grass, which may be uneven, soft or muddy depending on weather, and accessible parking may be limited.
Headphones are permitted but should be used at a low volume so runners can hear marshals and other instructions. Individual awards are presented for top finishers and veteran age categories, and every finisher receives a medal. Official race photos are normally available online within 24 to 48 hours.
