Event Details

The Fair Election 5K is a running event that welcomes walkers. It is sponsored by Foreside House of Pizza. The event makes donations to "Sons of the Amvets Post 25" and is dedicated to the memory of John Howe, a runner, skier, researcher, and friend to the event.

Race Course

The course begins on the driveway between Falmouth High School and Middle School on Woodville Road. It turns left onto Field Road, reaches a turnaround point at 1.5 miles near Watts Farm Way, and returns to finish at the midpoint of the driveway between the high school and middle school.

Awards and Amenities

The event features cash prizes for the top male and female overall winners, as well as age group awards and a top team award for groups of four or more participants. There is also a 50/50 raffle benefiting the Sons of Amvets Post 25, with entries costing $2 per chance. All registrants who sign up by October 12th receive a pint glass. An "All You Can Eat Pizza Buffet" is offered at Foreside House of Pizza after the event.

Registration

Registration costs vary. The "Wicked Early Bird" price is $26 for pre-registration by May 1st. The price becomes $30 from July 1st to August 31st, then $32 thereafter. Race day registration is $39.
