Event overview
The Extreme Adventure Challenge is scheduled for May 16, 2026 at Life Adventure Center in Versailles, Kentucky. The event runs on a 10K course across a 575-acre farm and features 18 distinct checkpoints. Checkpoints include activities such as mountain biking, ziplining, archery, and canoeing. Participants are organized into team formats with both two-person and four-person team events. The event is open to people aged 16 and up.
Format, services, and purpose
Teams allocate members to individual checkpoints and compete in male, female, and mixed divisions for awards. All participants receive a race t-shirt and provided hydration and nutrition. After the timed course, there is a gathering with food trucks and music. Registration proceeds fund scholarships and support Life Adventure Center’s programs that serve trauma-affected individuals through outdoor adventure.
