Explorr
Explorr is a three day outdoor endurance festival held in Banchory, Royal Deeside, on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Events and festival activities take place around King George V Park and in nearby areas of Royal Deeside.
The festival has three core events. The gravel stage race is a four stage challenge covering a total of 120 km through Royal Deeside. The running programme offers multiple distances and a range of off road routes. The festival also includes a Charity Night Hike to Scolty Tower.
The running distances include:
- 5 km
- 10 km
- Half marathon
- Marathon
Additional elements listed for the weekend include kids races, athlete talks, a Festival Village, music, talks, films, food and community activities.
