Exeter 10k River Run - Final Race Information
The Exeter 10k River Run is organised by Exeter City Community Trust with partners including Exeter Live Better and Tozers Solicitors LLP. The event uses Race HQ at Haven Banks Outdoor Education Centre, which provides toilets, limited changing facilities and a baggage store. A race enquiries desk will operate at Race HQ when open.
Race numbers are posted out before race day; replacements can be collected from Race HQ if needed. Runners must wear their number on the front of their top. A red sticker on a race number indicates an opt out from event photography. On the day entries are not accepted. Minimum age to take part is 15 years.
The course runs on shared cycle and footpaths through the Exeter Riverside Valley Park with a short section on a quiet residential road of about one third of a mile. Runners should be aware that the route is shared with other park users and marshals and lead and rear bikes will be present to guide participants. Road running shoes are recommended.
There will be portable toilets on course and water stations at the halfway point and at the finish using paper cups; a bottled water is provided at the finish and PET bottles will be recycled. First aid cover is provided on course and a medical station is located at Race HQ. All finishers receive a medal and provisional results are posted online within 48 hours. Event marshals manage litter and recycling on course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
