Exeter 10k River Run 2026
The Exeter 10k River Run takes place on 26 June 2026 and follows a route along the River Exe. The 10 km event is described as traffic-free and flat and is open to runners of all abilities. Entrants must be over 15 years old. The distance is positioned as useful for runners preparing for an autumn marathon.
A new addition for 2026 is the Grecian Mile for under 16s. The Grecian Mile is a non-competitive, untimed event. Every finisher receives a medal. Participants in the Grecian Mile must be under 16; those aged 10 years or under must be accompanied by an adult.
Fundraising is an active part of both events. Runners can take part on behalf of the organiser or its charity partners. For the Grecian Mile, incentive prizes are offered to top fundraisers, including two holiday club tickets at a £50 fundraising level, two match tickets at £100, a signed football at £150, and a signed shirt at £200.
Entry to the 10 km event is a UKA licensed event with a discount available to England Athletics members. The event is organised to support sports participation and wellbeing programmes run by Exeter City Community Trust across the city. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
