Exeter 10K River Run
The Exeter 10K River Run takes place on Friday 25 June 2027 and follows a riverside route along the River Exe. The 10 km course is traffic free and flat and is open to runners of all abilities. The event is described as a natural next distance after a couch to 5 km programme and as an option for those not yet aiming for a half marathon. It is also timed to suit runners preparing for autumn marathons.
The event includes the following distances:
- 10 km River Run along the River Exe
- Grecian Mile non competitive under 16s run with a finisher medal
The Grecian Mile returns for 2027 as a non competitive, untimed run for under 16s; participants aged 10 or under must be accompanied by an adult. Every Grecian Mile finisher receives a medal. Fundraising is a key part of the Grecian Mile and top fundraisers can earn incentive prizes, including two Holiday Club tickets at £50, two Exeter City match tickets at £100 subject to availability, a signed ECFC football at £150, and a signed ECFC shirt at £200.
